Cisco’s Andrew Warden at this week’s Corporate Social Media Summit said, “Internal social media is the second wave … the future of work is in communities.” Why do you think he feels that way? Well, he offers the following thoughts on the matter:
- Upcoming workforce expects it
- Workforce has become global
- Management becomes easier
- Future company culture may depend on it
Seems to make good sense. With the technology still evolving and training a key element to success, fully embracing social media in your organization will certainly bring some new challenges. Despite that, can you afford to ignore it?
