Leadership prowess is often measured on what and how leaders lead their followers. As such, peer leadership is many times overlooked. What is often forgotten is the fact that you need to be proficient in peer leadership before stepping to the next level. You are not “the boss,” so you need to exert a certain level of control over people, both above and below you. Doing this successfully will require some skills and techniques, when once mastered, will become the foundation a strong leadership style.
