Adding a Second Line to Your iPhone

Some of you iPhone users out there may have, on occasion, had difficulty making phone calls on your phone is certain regions of the country. I’ve many complaints about AT&T’s coverage and it being the blame for these call difficulties. Well, what if there was a way to have a second line on your device. How many of you would enjoy this flexibility.

While reading some trade publications this morning, I came across an article talking about a tool that many of you may find quite useful.  Toktumi Line2 offers a solution that provides a second voice and SMS VoIP line to your iPhone. It provides outstanding voice quality and features with good SMS messaging for Apple devices. Now may of you may be aware and are using services like Skype for such additional voice and messaging services, but I would encourage you to take a quick look at Line2. Although a little more expensive, it may offer the flexibility and feature set to keep you connected with your business clients.

There is a 30-day trial program to give you an opportunity to give it a spin. After that, you can pay monthly or prepay for a period of 6 months. Toktumi also offers several higher level plans to give you features such as auto attendant, conference calling, customized greetings and visual voice mail, among others.

So, for all you iPhone users, give Line2 a spin. Let me know what you think and whether or not it helps improve your productivtiy.

I’ve had Line2 for a couple of months. David Pogue of the NYT reviewed this months ago. It works as advertised. The Toktumi infrastructure is assembled, but I haven’t had a single problem. In fact, last Friday I got my first Spam call for a spanish language marketeer on my second line. I guess I know it works!
